You should feel genuinely blessed if there is a vast supply of water for your garden. Some people are now living in regions where the water is rationed during specific times of the year, and this isn’t good for the health of their plants. When people learn how little water they get, many give up, but there are others who find ways to deal with the small amount of water they are allowed. You can have a verdant garden and at the same time cut back on water.
Some of the ways to keep your garden growing, include using mulch or compost to prevent drainage by insulating the water. Another way, is to place the plants in groups depending on their individual water needs, which will keep the water away from the plants that don’t need it. Yet another strategy is to use drip irrigation, allowing the roots of the plants to get water by using pipes with small holes so only a little water at a time gets through. To keep your garden alive during a drought, is by using measures that are preventative in nature. Since most droughts can be predicted far in advance, when the rain falls beforehand, what you do can save your garden.

This may feel like annoying to do, but once you get a system, it won’t be that bad.
